Had my "dream" job for years.  Made boat loads of money, travelled all over the world, pretty much first class everything.  Saw and met virtually anybody and everybody connected with Rock and Roll. Smoked, drank ate mass quantities of legal and illegal everything. Played golf in dozens of Pro-ams.  Almost lost my family.

Be careful what you wish for.

Now, making about 10% of what I made in my heyday.  Reconnected with my kids (now grown) and, most important, my wife, who for some reason unbenownst to me, stuck with me through years of debauchery.

Life is NOW good.  Keep things in perspective.

I interviewed yesterday for a position with Alaska Airlines for 10.25 an hour, 10 *goshdarn* 25.

Are you ready for that, cuz that's what it's coming to.

Dude, I'm feelin' ya.  Right now I'm at $12.50.  Regulation means I have as much or more responsibility than your average citizen that wouldn't touch my job with the proverbial 10 foot pole.

I wish you well, and am sending good vibes your way, for what that's worth.

Soon to be your local trash man.

I don't play golf anymore.   Well, maybe I do sort of.  I quit keeping score, started drinkning beer and I started playing better.

Russia has invaded a sovereign neighboring state and threatens a democratic government elected by its people. Such an action is unacceptable in the 21st century.
