City denies Post report that existing condoms are defective

Mayor Adrian Fenty is expected to announce within the next week that Washington will receive a donation of at least 350,000 condoms from the Princeton, N.J., corporation that produces the Trojan brand condom, according to sources familiar with the city government.
Fenty had scheduled a news conference for Wednesday at the Whitman-Walker Clinic’s Max Robinson Center in Anacostia, where he reportedly planned to discuss the Trojan donation. But the mayor postponed the news conference late Tuesday due to a scheduling conflict and was expected to schedule it again for next week, said Department of Health spokesperson Leila Abrar.
With Congress back in session, 350,000 should last about 2 weeks, give or take...
