A convent in southern Italy has been shut after a quarrel among its last three remaining nuns ended in blows, reports say. Two sisters, upset about their mother superior's authoritarian ways, scratched her face and threw her to the ground at Santa Clara convent near Bari.

I brought the dvd for Georgia (as I enjoyed the movie as a young girl), well I think we have seen T.S.O.M, roughly about " a few thousand times"!!!!! I think it is a classic movie  Speaking of Nuns, they are a dying breed these days, the nuns will tell you that themselves. Georgia's school had alot of them teaching there 20 years ago, now there is zero. One retired nun comes in and teaches choir, that is it. |

My Mother & Father were both taught by Nuns, they had some horror stories about them, plus some nice ones. Dad always liked the one, where one of the nuns at his school, coached his rugby league team, and they won their premiership!! |

I think The Sound of Music is 3rd on my list of movies that I've seen the most times. (after Star Wars and Airplane). We also had the album, and my sister would play it over and over again, so I probably know every line.

TSOM might even be better than Marry Poppins but not sure. Both rock IMO.

Damn, that's a tough call. I think in the past I might have gone with TSOM, but today I would vote Mary Poppins. No real reason, though. (lmao at debating The Sound of Music vs. Mary Poppins on the Internet) |
