Looks that way. Another good dog with a bad rap. We just put our Akita mix down last winter. She was almost 16 years old. Best dog ever. Loved people. Loved kids. Looked like she was going to rip your throat out but if you got close she'd just lick you to death. There was that one rat dog about 14 years ago she thought would make a chew toy. Oh, how sad.  Sounds like you had a lot of great years together, though! I love dogs, but never had any of my own. My grandma has several pets, and it's always hard when you have to let go. |

I am a bit surprised at the amount of "green" in the trees. I think we have more color out by us. Definitely a different fall however.
Thanks, Fuzz! I was semi-surprised at how green it was, too. I was expecting a bit more color, though not the fantastic colors that we sometimes see. The poplar and birch trees were getting to be colorful, but I didn't really post pics of them 'cause it was getting dark for those and I didn't want to post the ones I had to edit (except for the little buck). Leaves were constantly falling, but even some of those still were green. |
