I assume my father in law shook his hand but he didn't mention it.  I'll ask though but firm handshakes are the norm round here ya here.

BTW have you heard about one if his workouts from college.  He would hold 80 lb dumbbells in each hand with feet together and jump on top of a 40 something inch tall box and repeat numerous times.  Dude is unbelievable.
