Saturday evening institutions back in the day Porter Waggoner, Hee Haw, Lawrence Welk. I had to watch 'em all. And the remote control in those days was me.
'Boy, git up an change over to Hee Haw!' I was lucky and could find it pretty fast, we only had three channels.
