I love Phish covers but can't access you tube at work to provide any. Not that you guys care or anything. But to add to the analog digital discussion I'd like to tell of an experience I may have mentioned before about this time I was on LSD. I had taken way more than I should've and was tripping hard. So I decided I want to listen to a cd from my car. 15 minutes later while staring at the bathroom wall I remebered I was on my way to my car for a cd. So I stumble to the door, open it and look out thankful it was still dark. I open my car and grab the first cd I saw which was Phish's Story of a Ghost. I eventually make it back to the room that had the cd player. Then get trapped in a circular conversation for awhile not knowing what the *fudge* anyone is talking about and randomly saying stupid *feces*. I realize I have the cd in my hand and put it in the cd player. I switch to one of the last tracks which is "Wading in the Velvet Sea". It comes on and it is 1/4 the normal speed playing pretty much slow motion. I'm like what the *fudge* is wrong with the cd player. They say nothing. I say is this song playing in super duper slow motion to anyone else. They say no. All this time I can hear the swooshing wind before the beat hits and the crackle of the record playing it in extra slow time. I swear that album was recorded on vinyl and transferred to digital because I could hear it in my state at the time. I'll never forget those 14 or so hours.

I didn't realize RESPECT was a cover, nice job.
I have a confession to make: Hoyt Axton isn't technically covering Snowblind Friend, he actually wrote that and The Pusher and recorded them after Steppenwolf.
I am Teh Suk.
If I'm not mistaken, that footage of The Kingsmen was recorded at the opening of the Lloyd Center ice rink in Portland, Or where Tonya Harding used to skate.

Otis Redding was da man! LOL@Tonya Harding reference. I wonder if she's a Colts fan.

Another extremely prolific writer covering a cover of her own creation. Early versions of this song are a lot less overblown.

If you like Rush this is a pretty decent cover by some kids. and this one. That drummer is only 11 in these videos. Not too shabby.
