Here's the deal, use this thread to post a movie/DVD you're interested in seeing others post their opinions of that movie.

I'll start:

Smoking Aces?

Can you tell that I'm a new HD-DVD owner?  Grin Grin

I was disappointed in Smoking Aces.  Its not a bad movie really, I just thought it could have been better.

The Company?   (I know it was on TV, but I didn't watch it)

Smoking Aces is so-so (contrary to rick, better than I expected), but on HD-DVD the interactivity/online features are pretty neat.

Isn't this a bad movie from the 80s starring Burt Reynolds?

I thought Smokin' Aces was pretty meh. The action is pretty good, the editing gave me a headache, the plot is fine but the storyline is sloppy. The ending was pretty lame, IMO. It's a fine "popcorn" movie, if you're not expecting any kind of intellectual payoff. Jeremy Pivin is always good even in bad films.

Thats an excellent description - I very much agree.  The plot was fine, but the storyline was disjointed and missing something.

Transformers - An awesome movie.  Visually stunning, pretty cool plot, and great special effect.  My wife was even awestruck w/ this movie and she's not into any type of sci-fi movie.

Will be watching Transformers tonight.

Last night watched Knocked Up. All I can say is LMFAO. The deleted Brokeback Mountain scene was hilarious.
