so, i went to the doctors yesterday......

the doc says that my ankle is looking great, i am now down to one crutch and will shed the other one within the next week. i will still have to wear the prosthetic boot for a while, but it will be nice to be back on 2 feet for the first time in 6 weeks. 

then we got to the wrist. i have had a splint with metal rods in it for the last 2 weeks. i chose this option because they had just taken out my staples and stitches, and i could start taking showers again. i kinda had a feeling that this was not working so great. i was filling out some insurance forms last week and my wrist became incredibly sore. yesterdays x-rays showed that it had not healed at all. the pressure on the wrist from the crutches didn't help

so, 5 weeks after the accident, i now have a hard cast that goes from my fingers to my elbow. doc says it could be up to 6 weeks!

this sucks. ever tried typing with out moving your wrist? or using a mouse? i stopped into work yesterday, and they had a bunch of forms for me to sign. they looked like Michael J. Fox signed them.

Get well soon AM.  I'm sure it's all a grade-A PITA.  For what it's worth you come across as handling it very well.  Better than I would I suspect.
