Who knew "it appears" is a punctuation mark.   Don't Know

Gumbel's not good.  Not at all.

I do like Chris Collinsworth though.  I think he'd shine if he wasn't so busy just trying to keep the broadcast afloat.

Sometimes he reminds me of Johny Miller though.

how did you enjoy your foray into the world of NFL commentary by  gumball?

Well not having to see him talk made it tolerable.  He isn't the best that is for sure.  But I was surprised that I quite enjoyed Collinsworth's analysis.  I thought he did a good job and generally said stuff worth hearing.  Plus I agree with everything he said regarding the *feces*ty pass interference inadvertant trip and Al Harris stripping the ball from TO while the moran ref blew the whistle.

Funny, I almost wrote that he reminds me of Brandel Chamblee.  Both he and Miller are guys who pop off with their opinions but I think Chamblee and Collinsworth are less, I dunno, angry about it.

Another thing I like about Collinsworth.  He says what's on his mind but it's REALLY what's on HIS mind rather than that stupid ESPN team where they spend the entire broadcast finding things wrong with people and spouting inaccuracies - all of it seemingly contrived.  Then we have Keith Olberman's nonsense on the other station.  Lots of assclowns in this industry.  I imagine it's a pretty hard job but surely there are a dozen people in the country good at it.  Find them.

......  Find them.

I'm in a weird place today. I just flashed on Lt. Castillo of Miami Vice fame. Dude seemingly had two lines: "Find them" "Get them". Both delivered as he turned to face the wall or window in his office.
