Hmm, my last set of irons (Maltby m-05s) were constant, but my new ones (kenneth smith milled cavities) are progressive.  But before that I had mx-23s which were progressive.

It's hard to say. I really don't know if I have a preference.

Progressive. I don't like a lot of offset in my short irons.
