Interesting. Friendster came before MySpace. I thought it was the other way around. Apparently, the founders of MySpace took the Friendster concept, allowed self-promotion, and became billionaires.

I envision that in the future, someone could do the same thing with the GH concept and become a Dollar Menuaire.

Facebook is in big trouble and backpedaling for their advertising personal info sharing, whatever you want to call it.

Apparently they are hooked up with sponsors to send out messages on recent purchases to all of your "friends".

Example:
