My god-daughter (and cousin) is getting married today. I was 16 when she was christened. 27 years later and we are a few hours away from the wedding.  Buddies

But it is another event that makes me say where the fudge did all the time go?

The wedding was interesting - Greek Orthodox - so there were a few twists and turns during the ceremony I hadn't seen before.

The reception was one of the most self indulgent, narcissistic, interesting events I've seen. But to tell the soap opera tale of that particular branch of the family tree would take up too much bandwidth. And out of respect for my Aunt, rest her soul, I'll let it be.  Wink

The meal was excellent and there was an open bar. And not just beer and wine. The bride was beautiful and I told them I wished nothing but the best for them and I truly mean that.  Smiley
