Going to mom's for: turkey, spicy sausage stuffing (OMFG!!!), candied yams (not my favorite, but Laura loves them), home made rolls, pumpkin pie (ma spaceage's crust is the best in the land!!!). Probably some other stuff, but that's all that matters. We'll bring a lovely Shiraz.

Football on the 52" HD flatscreen, then off to my Italian friends place for cocktails and tofurkey (they're vegetarian, I have never tried the stuff but asked them to save me a bite.) I'll sleep on their futon and drive home with a wicked headache.

Not familiar with Avondale. I'd like to say I'd look for it, but I live in Utah. I get what I get, when they feel like stocking it.  Sad

I'm not 100% certain on the rules, but I think to special order stuff it has to be done through the State, and it has to be on a pre-approved list. The *fiddlesticks*ed up thing is that the list is made by 3 people who decide what's worthy of being stocked by state agencies. Of the three, one is a "social" drinker, one will taste, but spit out, and one doesn't drink. So essentially, the entire state gets to drink what one guy likes.

My parents have found a couple of vineyards who think Utah's laws are stupid and will ship directly to them, but it's highly illegal so finding those who are willing is tough.
