a nice pork loin roast for example might work.
anyways, i guess i'll go back to the drawing board. this one didn't generate much interest.

Too many ingredients I could never find in the stores around here. Rework it to include only rib eye steak and potato's, and I'll give it a shot.

cayenne pepper powder, paprika powder, bell peppers, purple hull peas, black eyed peas
I'm guessing the "surprise" part of this recipe comes 12-16 hours later.

hahaha. not really .... . maybe if you're never used to those ingredients in your life..... the surprise is more from the 1st taste of the sweet cornbread which then transitions nicely , but powerfully, into the spicy,nutty flavor of the 'pea soup' inside, then goes away again at towards the end with the 2nd layer of the cornbread

took this to a cookout last night and it was a hit ... only person that didn't like it said only because it was too spicy.
