Homework: Plurals.

Fill in the plural words. Real people x 3. Fantasy people x 1.
Women, elves, children, gentlemen.

Maddie: Elves.
stroh: Uh, think again.
Maddie: What do you mean?
stroh: Real people. Have you ever seen any elves?
Maddie: Elves are real. (scowling) Santa's an elf. Duh! Santa has elves working at his workshop.
stroh: Oh, yeah. Rock on.
Maddie: Which one is fantasy? Should I put elves?
stroh: thinking Well, fantasy women......thinking Nah. Put a question mark, and tell the teacher tomorrow we don't know any fantasy people.

The magic of Christmas lives. At least for another season.

Two years ago I think Zoe knew but didn't want to not believe. Last year it was over for her but it was all good. I instilled the "if you don't believe you don't receive" message. That, and if she spilled to sister I'd break her thumbs.

Her sister has spent the past week trying to figure out how Santa gets down the chimney.

BTW, I'd go with fantasy gentlemen. Tell her to tell her teacher that all men are pigs and gentlemen are just a figment of the female imagination. Wink
