errmmm , uh.... isn't 22 pounds something like...   6-8 hours ?

Hmm, the sites I've been looking at have this cooking time (unstuffed):

20 to 24 pounds -- 4 1/2 to 5 hours

In previous years when I've done this, that's been about right.

nope, dont think so, it was great other than maybe being the slightest bit overcooked.  maybe 15 minutes less next time.

it was hard to judge, we haven't cooked a bird in this oven before.
just went by the directions....
