spacey- transformers opinions ?

I liked it. Not art, but definitely worth the time invested.

I thought it was a little bit long and some of the action sequences, particularly the scenes with robots fighting each other, were a bit clumsy just because of limitations of the CGI. I also thought the ending where Megatron was finally taken down seemed kind of forced and didn't make much sense, but the premise of the entire movie is so absurd, picking apart the story seems like a wasted exercise.

Aside from previously mentioned awkward visuals, overall it was visually stunning, and loads of fun to watch, particularly for a fan of the toys/cartoons as a child. The audio sounded great through 5.1 surround. Almost a perfect "popcorn" movie, just big, stupid fun. The fact that the wife didn't start grumbling at the 2:00 point says a lot too. 3 1/2 stars.

I thought the script was good.  Very funny and the characters were fairly well developed for a fun movie.  That LeBouef (sp?) kid is pretty solid IMO.
