i figured you had seen this before. actually i liked their earlier test makeup on ledger more than the final product, but that's about all i can hold against this so far. nolan definitely seems to have understood the flaws with his first batman film (although to be fair, i think anyone going with that story would have a hard time making it that great of a film) and really upped the ante with a much better film the 2nd go round. of course, having bale is the best thing he can do, he's the perfect modern actor for the role. i expect a lot from the film , the trailer lives up to it, and I better not be disappointed this summer! if they plan to do any more installments, they better film caine's and freeman's roles before they get too old and possible even kick the bucket   |
