And people worried about our Muslim congressman [Politics & Religion]

Well, I for one would be proud of a number of other things about Minnesota but to each his or her own stone cold crazy self.

Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., speaking in support of the Middle Class Job Protection Act, which cuts corporate taxes by 25 percent, expressed her pride in Minnesotans working "longer hours" and "two jobs" on Wednesday.

"I am so proud to be from the state of Minnesota," Bachmann said at a press conference today. "We're the workingest state in the country, and the reason why we are, we have more people that are working longer hours, we have people that are working two jobs."

I wonder how many people in her own district need to work two jobs to survive. My guess is that a considerable portion of the families in her district even have a single wage earner with a stay-at-home spouse. If this woman represented the 4th or 5th districts, she'd be out on her ass in the next election for saying something like this.
