I remember when we were kids we had to walk to school three miles in the snow uphill both ways.
And our decimal charts had ha'pence, shillings and crowns.
And excel meant do good at maths.
And all we could afford to drink was Strohs.

LOL I was waiting to hear that.  Actually, the table is not an assignment, I wanted it as a tool to visualize the relationships of those numbers. In her math class, they have just introduced decimals, and are mixing them in with addition and subtraction. She adds and subs just fine, but the one she is having trouble with is: Complete the sequence .083, .088, .093, _____, _____, _____ . I thought it would be easier for her to see it laid out sequentialy. (and me ) |
