I have heard many people say they are incapable of cognitive thoughts before they have their first cup of coffee Coffee, so I fail to see how this would work.  Maybe donating to a non-profit organization they approve of would be a better choice, however, that would give them incentive to hit the snooze button, which would also be contrary to said purpose.
