On the 21st of this month (less than two weeks) I am going on a girls golfing holiday for a week at the Sunshine Coast.  Oh and bye the way, I have been told, "What happens on tour, stays on tour.  Wink Grin

You know, Minneapolis is ripe for a tour stop.  We've got the amenities host such an event. Wink

Do you think Carlton would be able to attend to 15 women who can't wait for their golfing (and drinking) holiday. Grin Grin

I don't think he'd look crossways at the challenge.

I had big plans coming into this year, including TPC Sawgrass, World Woods-Pine Barrens, and Kiawah; but it looks like I won't be playing any of those this year.

Still, I have some other good stuff on the list and I'm pretty sure I'll be playing them:

Bethpage Black: sometime before the summer.

Yale University GC: Played in an alternate shot stableford there last fall and was invited back.

Kebo Valley: Perhaps not a great course, but one of the first in the country with a ton of history.

Beechtree: A Doak design in northern Maryland

Bulle Rock: A Dye design near Beechtree, site of the LPGA Championship.

Atlantic City CC: William Flynn design renovated by Tom Doak that sits on the bay side of Atlantic City. Was ultra private at one time, but now allows daily fee play (although expensive).

Harbour Town: on my annual trip to SC.

I have plans to play a few other good designs, although lesser known and probably meaningless to anyone who doesn't live nearby.
