A snowplow clearing the street of hail.  We had a storm this afternoon that included a period of hail near my house.  On the way home I passed a plow that was clearing one of the streets.

Here's a picture out my back door an hour afterwards:

True.  I don't see hail much anymore, but I have bad memories of hail damage in the 'burgh and upstate NY.

nothing more frightening as a kid in DFW  area was tornado/hail season.

one year after my 'rents had some skylights put in we had some softball sized hail.  jeebus.
