I remember when I got my first cassette player (yes I had a record player before that).  The first cassette I brought was Whitney Houston. Grin It was her first album. Grin

I don't play golf anymore.   Well, maybe I do sort of.  I quit keeping score, started drinkning beer and I started playing better.

I had 45's.  Hell I was  Air quotes scratchin'  Air quotes  long before RUN DMC ever started doing it.  Roll Eyes  Only my parents didn't see it as musical genius, more of annoying needless abuse.  "Go outside and play and quit destroying your stuff."

The first 8-track that I regularly listened to was this:

As for cassette tapes, I can't remember. I think I joined (and quit) the BMG (RCA back then) Music Club about 5 times back when they were still shipping vinyl. I always went with vinyl because they were easier to make mix tapes with.

Among the first, if not the first cassette I ever purchased. I had some 8-tracks because my dad's '75 Thunderbird had an 8-track player, aside from AC/DC's Powerage, I don't recall what any of them were.

My Adidas
walk through concert doors
and roam all over coliseum floors
I stepped on stage, at Live Aid
All the people gave an applause that paid
And out of speakers I did speak
I wore my sneakers but I'm not a sneak
My Adidas cuts the sand of a foreign land
with mic in hand I cold took command
my Adidas and me both askin P
we make a good team my Adidas and me
we get around together, rhyme forever
and we won't be mad when worn in bad weather
My Adidas..
My Adidas..

Did you ever see the R rated version video clip of "Relax".  I'm not sure if they would have ever had in on TV in the US.  I saw it in the middle of the night once on Rage (Aussie video clip show).
