It's a beautiful course alright. I'd like to get Monsieur LeFawg out to play it, but at a buck fiddy I don't think he's down wid it. Heck I'm not that down wid it either.

I'm kinda shocked, I just don't see it as a US Open venue. When I think US Open I think Shinnecock, or Pebble or Oakmont.

Yeah it does seem like there will be a lot of people standing in waste bunkers, I will be anxious to see 25 or 30 thousand people.

Agree wid ya.  I think they tried to hard to give it local flavor.  There is a creek very near (I think south) that empties into Puget Sound called Chambers Creek.  I don't recall there being a bay in this area.
