yes, hobbit, i do expect a response On what specifically? Because I think my viewpoints are often miscategorized as an apologist for Bush - which is certainly not true (I never voted for the fool). I took issue with 'tax cuts for the rich' because its a gross exaggeration. I took issue with punative marginal tax rates because it inhibits growth. But what seems to be forgotten is that I allowed for an increase in taxes for the 'rich', I acknowledged that the 'rich' can play games with income (but we have no idea how much/little its affect is). I also acknowledge that Bush said something extremely stupid, again. Carry on with the effigy, you won't see me standing in the way. |

you missed my point of 'calling you out', which was completely* in jest as I know on this one point we agree  anyways, pining back to the glory days of post ww2 'merka, i jsut read the top marginal rate was 90% on the elite ! yes! |

I actually watched the bulk of the interview, and this wasn't even one of the highlights.
The man is deranged, or at least in the middle of a lifelong dissociative episode.
Of course, it was Faux, and even the Shrub was a little put off by some of the typical Faux 'Questions':

Yes!??? You guys are nuts  . So angry about the 'rich' that you cannot see the forest for the trees. I can only imaging the potential growth we wasted with that, but then we thought we had war debt to pay off. And it was on considerably more income though - while the top marginal rate did come down again, so did the point at which you entered it. |
