1) Is it REALLY so important that you park 30 feet closer to the mall entrance that you have to block an entire aisle to wait while somebody loads their car up with their entire Xmas shopping list, requiring the aid of 3 Sherpa's, a USAF certified loadmaster, and 30 minutes of sorting by size and familial relation?

2) You're Expedition is in no, way, shape or form a 'Compact', unless you've found a way to make it float and are parking it at the naval graveyard in Vallejo.

Well, I suppose if someone was handicapped and all of the designated spaces are filled and no one was to drop him off at the entrance, I could see why 30 feet could make a difference.

And it seems as a general rule that those who park the closest are the ones who would benefit by parking the farthest.

At least where I work.

I'm guessing there's probably some sort of corollary there, though I'm not quite smart enough to know what it might be.
