we might finally hit that breaking point. [Politics/Religion]

papa george would have called in some favors with his cheek kissing handholding buddies if they had any ability to do something about it.

it will never be significantly cheaper than this again.

the $ is crap

conventional production is/has peaked

us recession leading smaller global recession might extend the plateau 2-3 more years.

time to start putting some real $ into developing alternatives and bringing them online, while there might still be the means for the infrastructure overhaul- unfortunately, we spent about $2T in the desert that could probably have found some solutions already.  oh well.

will people FINALLY start to get vocal about this if prices stay above $3.25 ?

I've actually started to hear people talking (seriously) about biking to work, etc. so I know it is starting to get more attention. But it's not a viable option for most.

I think it needs to be >$4.00 to answer your question on when people are going to get more vocal. And even then it's not going to be vocal as in "Alternative energy NOW" or "more mass transit options" unfortunately. I think it will be more "make my gas prices lower!!"

I commute to One Blader Plaza by bicycle daily, no matter the weather, but it's costing me a fortune in medical bills and new bicycles.
