First Round of 2008
« on: March 17, 2008, 02:52:55 PM »

Nine holes today.  Didn't keep score but close enough to bogey golf.   Two very loose drives on the first two holes.  One way right and the other way short.   Sad

Got it into gear after that.  Irons were solid although I was really drawing the ball today and missing greens left by just a touch.  I'll keep that though.  When I'm drawing the ball I'm usually playing well.  A double due to a gob*feces*e purposely nailing his horn on my backswing, a few pars and the rest bogeys but I played loose and fast with the rules on an OOB situation (one yard into a back yard, drag it back into play and stick the wedge.)  All in all, a promising start.

Let the season begin!!!

OTT nice to here you got out.  Nice round. Cool

Prob. still a good month here.  Sad

Getting out before The Masters is exceptional.  Doesn't happen that often.

I don't believe it.      That is why you fail.

Ya, sorry.  Didn't mean to be rubbing it in.

It's been a hellacious winter around here but the past couple of weeks have been warming up.  They got snow down in SLC over the weekend but nothing up here.  The courses are opening and the one I went to today is in surprisingly good shape.

Looks I'll be playing Sunday and then again the following Friday in St. George.  Woot!

It's going to be almost 70 every day this week.  Just FYI.

I don't anticipate any golfing, though.  Sad

Good start.  Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

We're still probably about three-four weeks away.
