http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNY2puqNH5gCraziest tournament I've ever played in. Due to a horrible forecast the course was empty, so we played as a 14-some, stableford, alternate shot, 27 holes. That's me at :46, 1:02 (hit a great drive), 1:29 (can't believe that didn't release downhill to the hole; thought it was perfect), and at 1:42 (hitting a terrible pull into the left bunker). That pull was on #9, a biarritz hole that made for some crazy swings in the action. 180 yard carry over water to a green bisected with a 5 1/2 foot deep swale. Easy hole to 4-putt.

How did you finish?
Well, not good! We were in second place after 18 holes but faded on the last 9 (after lunch, punch, and too many pints). I think we finished 6th of 7 teams. Iirc, we had 39 points and the winners were at 44. It was close all around, so no biggie. |
