We had a discussion about Amazon's EC2 and S3 Web Services a while ago.  It looks like Google's play in this area is App Engine.  (good timing, too, since EC2 apparently was down for an hour this morning)

interesting.  i might consider signing up but i wouldnt begin to use it for 6-12 months.  kind of unfair to everyone else
