Giving Ubuntu a test drive

I just got done downloading Ubuntu.  The disk is burning as I type.  I have a laptop at work that is going to be my test machine.  As I have several hdd's in my desk drawer that are taking up space, I figure I'll see what the fuss is all about.

Not really.  The hard drive I was using is junk.  All I really had a chance to do is check it out via the cd.  From what I saw, I think I'll like it.  Need to find another 2.5" hdd.

Well, you'll just have to let us know then. Smiley  If you liked what you saw from the LiveCD, then I'm pretty certain you'll really like it when you have a hard drive to install it on.
