« on: April 11, 2008, 07:44:37 AM »

Leaving in 15 minutes to take two old TV's and a VCR to a free recycling event. Anybody who wants to unload something get it to my house pronto.  Smiley

For you Minnesotans of like mind, today and tomorrow from 9:00-4:00 at the following sites:

Grace Church - Eden Prairie
Canterbury Park Racetrack - Shakopee
Ecolab Schuman campus (Saturday only) - Eagan
Minnesota State Fairgrounds - St. Paul
National Sports Center - Blaine

Event is sponsored by Waste Management, Butt Buy and Sony Electronics Inc.  www.wmtwincities.com for more information and maps to the sites.

I hope not. I was ready to go to that just when they shut it down. I'm hoping by spreading this one around the metro it will be better.

Dumping old electronics is always a pain.  I know from experience though that private schools, especially those charging low tuition rates, are always in need.  Even if a TV has an orange perma-tint they'd rather have it than nothing.

Plus... depending on the school's tax status they'll be happy to give you a donation receipt.

Excellent point.  I'll remember that.  Thumbs Up
