Two days later, I had an accident at work that was considered 'dismissable.' Yesterday I was let go. The high point is, I go to a hearing in two weeks and will probably be re-hired (with all seniority). But, maybe this is the kick in the ass I need to get out of that job.

Who knows.

It was a rollaway, I was out of the truck. The big-behemoth-with-the-copyrighted-color considers that the most serious (from a disciplinary standpoint) accident other than a fatality. Probably caused 20 dollars damage (2 broken marker lights.)

I'm 99.99% sure I'll be re-hired at panel (after all, I am a proud Teamster), but I could put in for retirement and look for a new career.

Just weighing options.

Was it a semi-trailer?

I'm currently up to my eyeballs in truck roll overs... damn near had 6 of the bastards in the past 2 months..

Let me tell you, truck roll overs aren't cheap as in most case these things are write offs.

Every time I hear "just wanted to advise you of a truck roll over" my sphincter tightens just that little bit more Shocked
