AccuFLEX?

I know we are not a big equipment discussing place but I read that over there that AF was closing down. On their web site Jody put a letter saying changes were being made. Going back to "Grass Roots" so to speak.
Anyone else care? I ask only to get coversation started.
P.S. I really do love the Evo.

I play AccuFLEX in both of my drivers, but only because they're more affordable than some of the other shafts, or at least they used to be.

Hmmm, they (Jody) made some great shafts, pity a whole lot of people got screwed by the whole "Accuflex Club" thing.
If you're not gonna support the people that helped drive your business, then, to that end I say, *fudge* 'em!!

It's a shame really. I thought the Evo sucked donkey balls though. The icon v2 was badass and the icon HL is the best hybrid shaft evar imo. I think they just had way too many different shafts in their lineup. The acculaunch line was crap too. They would have been better off to simplify their offerings. Of course, as soon as you stop taking care of your customer (like it sounds they did long ago) it's all over.

The sad thing is that the AccuFlex story isn't unique at all. It's a story of paying too much money to an already overpaid group of people that generally have the personally of a wet mop.

I only had one Accuflex shaft, a VS02. it wasn't too bad, but I came to reallllly like the Grafalloy Prolaunch blue shaft, and stopped thinking about other shafts. Until, that is, the VS Proto shaft. If I'm going to spend a bunch of money on a shaft, that will probably be the one I use.
