Our goal is to provide an opportunity for real male community and holistic social interaction between supportive, centered individuals who enjoy the company of other naked men. We strive to provide an atmosphere of comradery, body-acceptance, and sensuality (not ****uality). Although sensuality is an intrinsic part of this group practice, it should be clear that this is not intended to be a blatantly ****ual venue.
DNY4M is open to adult men of all ages and body types. You don't have to have a perfect body to join and attend our classes, but you should be in good health and seriously interested in the pursuit of the yogic experience, as sessions can be physically demanding. It should be clear that IT IS NOT for those who are in need of serious physical rehabilitation or those who just want to come and admire. Our sessions are for healthy, fitness-oriented men who take care of themselves and their bodies. THIS IS NOT A HAVEN FOR PASSIVE VOYEURS.
Although predominantly gay, all men are welcomed--gay, bi or straight. Diversity among members only adds to the dimension of this group of men, leading to a richer yoga experience. You will work . . . you will sweat . . . and you'll love it. |

Now that you mention it, there are probably DVD programs along the lines of any of the 100's of fitness programs I see on infomercials.
I think a class wouldn't be as intimidating as you might think. Especially one geared for beginners.
