good luck ever getting the insurance company to pay. i know 3 people who's houses have had fires in the last ten years, one was a total loss. all three were judged accidental by arson investigators and judged suspicious or arson by the insurance company's  own arson investigator  . from that point it was hey, sue me if you want your money. the one couple who were close friends ended up living in an apartment for two years waiting for the insurance company to settle.
