Going out today

Darla and I are going to try and fit in 9 holes after her class and before the kids get out of school. Looking like a nice overcast day today.

 

Hit 'em well.

So we are back. While waiting on the first tee a man pulls up behind us. I look at him and he looks familiar. After the group in front tees off I look back at the man and realize he is my golf instructor. I go to talk to him and he decides to join us.

So I play like *feces*, decided after 3 holes to not keep score. Darla is nervous as all get out because we are playing with a pro. He is just practicing, second round of the day trying to get his game in shape for the senior open.

Without getting into any details of the round we had fun. A few pointers here and there as lessons on the course are not advisable and Darla gets invited for a free putting lesson. I had some shots of brilance and several that I could do without.

Darla had some great drives. On the second hole, my instructor goes left, I go right and Darla gets up and hits a beauty right down the pipe.  Unfortunately she had some trouble with her putting, thus the invitation for a free putting lesson.

I cant wait till we can go out again together. I need to get my oldest out playing too. He is just itching to go play.
