When the Stars won the Stanley Cup several years ago against Buffalo the last game went to 4OT I think and it was a garbage goal by Hull that won the game. By the time you get to that many OT I don't know if there is going to be a good goal. Both teams are fighting hard and the refs are going to let them play. Everyone want the game to be over at that point.

in wins, average score : 5-2   (3.0 difference)
in all games, average score:  4.25-2.25 (2.0 difference)


against dal:
in wins, average score : 4-1.33 (2.67 difference)
in all games, average score:  3-1.25 (1.75 difference)

and...
dallas had the lone shutout against det  between the 2 teams.

 Huh? Huh?

dallas defense and goaltending looks better (as a matchup against the wings).   throw in that nabokov was in net all 4 games  and turco wasn't  and it's even more appealing  Devil

The play itself was well executed, but it came when they had a man advantage. That's what makes the ending disappointing.
