guess who's....

juror #1? 

so, i get there this morning at 8:30 and am herded into the cattle pen with the other 89 people who unlike me, have someplace better to be. the jury commissioner explains what is going to happen, watch a short movie, blah blah blah, then says they are pulling jurors for 4 trials but we should be done by lunch time.

 pretty soon some hottie comes in and whispers in her ear and she announces that 3 of the cases have been settled through plea agreements and we are down to 1 trial, 7 jurors. so they bring in the bingo machine start rolling it over and we have a winner! #32 . i wish my luck was this good with the lotto.

sat in the box and answered some of the stupidest questions i've ever been asked. they kicked 5 of the original 7 picked. drew like 7-8 more and then told the final 7 when to show up.

the case is a domestic violence and from what i could gather from the lawyers questions he's going to try and use the "prescription drug" defense. as in prozac made me do it.

no, but i was wearing jeans and a harley t-shirt which the judge advised me wouldn't be proper attire on trial day.
