First concert?
« on: May 09, 2008, 10:12:53 AM »

Sorry if this was asked before and I'm too lazy to search. I was reading through this thread when UB dropped the name "Head East".

What was your first concert?

Mine was Head East in Rochester MN. Probably 6000 people packed into little Mayo Civic Auditorium. Thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Midnight show, Kinks, Mott The Hoople and Santana.  Ended about 4 AM.  $12.00, damn, I'm old.

As a pre-teen my parents dragged my brother and I to see Sting in Bonner Springs, KS at the outdoor ampitheatre.  Stuart Copeland was on drums too.  I really enjoyed them.

However, Lyle *goshdarn* Lovett opened and he sucked balls.
