OK, both times happened in the Navy. First was in a casino in Monte Carlo I was about 5 feet away from MacGyver. He was going into a private room so I didn't have a chance to really do anything. Second this man:  came aboard our sub for a tour for the same movie he is dressed for in that picture. Again it was a short encounter but still within a couple feet. On a sports note I did meat this person when I was in 8th grade. He came to our basketball practice because his nephew was on our team.  Bob Lanier. I was also next to these two individuals once.  in an airport sat behind him in the terminal.  In the clubhouse of his CC watched him play poker with a couple members. Both of those last two I kick myself for not going up to say hi. I don't want autographs as they just don't mean anything to me. |

I had my picture taken with Burt Young (Rocky's BIL) when they were shooting "Back to School". All the outdoor scenes, sans the diving, were shot at UW-Madison when I was in school there. Young was very cool, hanging out and talking with kids. I've got to find that pic because I had the "fuzz" hair going in all it's glory. I also met a few locally famous, including Herb Brooks, at a Special Olympics charity function back in the early 90's. This picture is especially for Aske (and anyone who followed pro 'rasslin back in the good old days): |
