seriously, the greatest crime committed by this country's government was not makine the EROEI/ oil crisis public knowledge 20 years ago. it has been known. makes you wonder .

If the public ever listened to the government I'd agree - but I don't think it would have made much difference. The only thing that would have would have been $5/gallon gas. And the president that presided over that one would have been out of office next election. Perhaps Nixon should have done it as his last act before stepping into the copter. Or Reagan as he left - he wouldn't even have remembered Shocked
