Winner of last week's Memorial says no to even attempting U.S. Open.

Seems rather odd to me. He's pretty hot this year. "...... made 14 consecutive cuts this year..."

Seems kind of like the Queens opting out of the season because 16 regular season games, and the playoffs are too much of a grind. Even if they win a chance in The Super Bowl (which is a sure thing, seeing the recent changes) they have no interest because it will be contested in Tampa Bay where they have had little to no success.

Ok. Goofy analogy, but you see where I'm going with it.

What do you guys think? Personally, I just can't get behind his decision, and his reasoning.

While I'm not as hot as Perry this year, I totally understand his decision.

I also said 'no' to even attempting to qualify for the U.S. Open. Tongue

*fudge* the U.S. Open. Fourth best major and 25th best tournament of the year. If the field wasn't tip-top it wouldn't be worth watching.
