this just about confirms that saudi arabia cant increase production because they've peaked out.

prices are too high, consumers are demanding more output!   we'd love to sell some more oil at this price but we can't get it out of the ground! and if we could, it would kill off our fields withing 5-10 years.  don't let them find out!

Doesn't it also suggest that a good chunk of the price of a barrel of oil doesn't have anything to do with supply and demand, but speculation in the oil markets?
