1) ESPN sucks (losing coverage during goals)
2) Deutschland Uber Alles!!! (Although they better wake their tails up in the final)
3) Just went back and found my bracket prediction. Only missed Turkey and France. Not bad

Wow - the Germans looked absolutely bewildered that Turkey didn't just lay down and die. What I thought would be a blowout turned out to be a good game.

Losing the coverage at the most horrible time was frustrating beyond belief though - wasn't ESPN's fault though, it was the feed all the countries were getting that went down.

The head stapling moment was probably my favorite - ROFL! What a scene!

This game honestly could have gone either way - Turkey gave it a hell of a go considering the players that were missing.

ESPN was nice enough to replay the game sans difficulties. Which was nice as ESPN HD is one of the channels I'm having DirecTV issues with so the original airing was a pixilated waste for me.

Good game, gotta love the underdog.

I'm still trying to figure out how Semih got the game tier past Lehman with about 3-4 minutes to go, that was a sweet goal.
