The first few days were tough. My wife had some concerns that I'd just give up, but I told I want to live long enough to get prostate cancer.   I shouldn't be too shocked because I smoked for 20 years. I quit 6 and half years ago. Bastard cigarettes. Thanks for the well wishes. |

It's usually my first thought when I hear a "persistent, refractory cough" story.

*UPDATE*
The last 3 months has really put me and my family to the test. It's still early, but the CT scan I had last week showed dramatic improvement. The chemo and radiation is working and the Doc used the word remission today.

Thanks for the well wishes. It's been quite the roller coaster ride, to say the least. I sure wish I could have spent more time on the course, but there's always next year.  That's good to hear, Kobe. You hang in there!
