being sick sucks! [RANT]

so I've been hacking up some nasty phlegm the last few days and it has seriously irritated my throat. went to the doctor today to see if i could get something stronger than OTC meds. of course, after waiting almost 2 hours, to get 3-4 minutes of diagnostic examination, I'm told... "not until we run a chest xray and see how bad it really is" thanks! not only do i get to spend 4 more hours surrounded by random sick/injured strangers, i'm out another $5 in parking , who knows how much co-pay on the x-ray, and to boot, don't feel any better yet!

Besides, I have a secretary going on vacation tomorrow, and a coworker with a post-surgery/immune-compromised infant, so I decided to do everyone a favor and keep my germs at home. |
