are your divots usually the huge 1 piece pelts,  or more the disintegrating shrapnel type

When I'm playing well and striking the ball with authority, they're huge 1 piece pelts, if not, they're the disintegrating type.

More often than not they disintegrate. Of course most of the courses I play on tend to not be very lush so it's hard to take a perfect divot even if I'm hitting extremely well.

Ditto.

My course, fairway isn't "bent grass" or the like, just grass cut really short.
Divots usually are shrap. like Aske said.

If I do take a huge pelt, it means I most likely hit it fat. Shocked

Most typically they are 1 piece pelts. Sometimes they break in half, though.

Usually pelts.

The course I play mostly is bent grass and "lusher?" than others so I think that affects it as well.

If I take a divot it usually flies longer than the ball.
